Good afternoon, my name is xxx, it is really a great honor to have this opportunity for an interview.

I graduated from xx University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. During the three-year study, I have acquired a solid professional knowledge and developed strong interest in this field. I was active in research activities, such as participating in various research projects which were related to my major.

Also, I constantly improved myself by reading relevant books and attending national and international conferences and forums. In order to have a better understanding of the business world, I have done an internship in a world-leading pharmaceutical company. There I have had the chance to apply my major knowledge and gained valuable experience in the corresponding field.

During the past summer, I worked as an intern at the Corporate Finance Department of xxx , which provided me with opportunities to utilize my research and analytic skills in the practical world. My weekend volunteering working experience gave me more encouragement.
